Yes. Whether you call it GameFi or play-to-earn, The Core fully leverages Web3 to create an open and transparent economy. All game assets are tokenized: NFTs represent infrastructure and land, while ERC-20 tokens represent resources. These NFTs can be traded on OpenSea, and resources will be freely tradable through DeFi protocols, using our core currency, $IFL.
$IFL is the currency of The Core universe. It’s crucial for in-game governance, allowing players to influence collaborative decisions. It also unlocks key game features and serves as the main trading pair for resources, making it the backbone of the in-game economy. With $IFL, you hold real power to shape the universe.
You can already reserve $IFL by linking your wallet and progressing through the current game version. You can also earn it by contributing to the ecosystem, engaging in community-building efforts, and collaborating to grow The Core.
Once the TGE (Token Generation Event) happens, $IFL will be listed on major crypto exchanges and tradable against cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies. Currently, The Core is web-based and can be played on mobile through the MetaMask browser. We use the Polygon Network to record game assets and key events on-chain. In the future, we aim to expand into a cross-platform experience, including PC, console, mobile apps, and even messaging apps, allowing players to interact with the universe in many different ways.
The Core is a PvE (player vs environment) empire-builder with opt-in PvP and future RPG elements. It’s a genre-blending experience designed to keep things exciting, offering multiple ways to play—whether you prefer building, exploring, trading, or competing.
AI is at the heart of The Core’s advanced gameplay. Our NPC companion Maya already guides players as an AI-driven assistant. We’re forging a Generative AI tool to automatically create real-time visuals, building a Large Language Model (LLM) engine to support a reactive, player-driven narrative, and developing an AI Agent layer that streamlines players' unique styles and strategies.
